New Tanks!

Ok so ive been working only cover shifts at the shop lately (economy and all that) and just as we were about to finnish up today one of my co workers mentioned some tanks that they were going to chuck out in the back yard. Some fella brought them in months ago and just wanted rid of them. It so happened i was on the lookout for a new large tank as i wanted to start a large goldie set-up and already had one in habitant waiting at home. So she took me out back to look at them, 2 4fts with an ironcast stand which allows them to be stacked one on top of the other. I asked my boss about them and he said he'd give me the lot for £30!!! of course i wasn't going to say no at that price for 2 4ft tanks with stand! Now comes the point of persuading my mother that another 2 tanks are a good thing and that they should be allowed in the house lol I picked up the stand today (was terrible to fit in the boot and we have a scenic ) and when the weather clears up and the tanks can be drained of all the rain water i'll be going to pick them up. Needless to say i'm already planning stocking on both of them. I'm still unsure on how much water they actually hold but when i get the stand out of the car tonight i can measure up and get accurately planning, best case scenario 47 uk gals (56usgals)worst case around 30gals, so either way i'm a happy bunny

They sound great . Can only hold one normal goldfish, or at a push with excellent filtration ( which you'll need regardless ) , 2 fancies.

Thanks honeythorn , i know about the Fancies i love them fully grown and all beautifull so no over crowding and PLENTY of filteration for the poo machines.
