New Tank!

hi everyone,

i am not new to fishkeeping but have not had a tank for a while as I lived in a flat!! I have just set up a new tank and want to try keeping some fish i haven't had before (I used to keep discus!). Just wanted some advice on whether my ideas will work!! The tank is an 80l Fluval with a Fluval U3 filter. I was thinking of the following fish:

x6 Tiger Barbs
x10 Cardinal Tetras
x4 Bolivian Rams
x4 Albino Corys
x2 Clown Loaches (to be moved to a larger tank when they outgrown this one!)

will this work?? too much stock?? (according to a stock calculator this is 10cm under what it should be!!) Also do you think I should install an additional filter??

any info/advice greatly appreciated. cheers. L

I dont think it would work, the tiger barbs are agressive which could cause problems, i think the cardinals would be fine but i would go for neons as you would be cable to get more in I think the rams will be ok as well but depends how many males you get, the corys will be great, The clown loaches need to be in a group and as you've said they get to large, you could maybe get a pleco instead of them

hi ...thanks for the welcome and the advice!! i wasn't too sure about neons as i thought that the barbs might eat them!! a pleco is a great idea! thanks again
