Well as most of you probably kno cos i went on about it a bit i picked up my new tank on saturday.
cant believe i thought my 80G tank was heavy, i nearly died carrying this.
first pics the tank when we got home. we borrowed my uncles truck to get the tank and stand to my house.
My oscar had to spend a few hours in this 80l bucket along with a plec and 2 bala sharks.
got the stand in first. the guy we bought it from (ebay rocks!) made the stand and i have to say im impressed! definately no paranoia when filling the tank.
filling it actually took ages lol. i was in a rush too which probably isnt the best way to start a new tank.
i dont have my filters yet and only 1 300w heater so i used everything i had in the new tank and im not adding anything else till the new filter gets here.
these last pictures are with my phone cos the battery died on the camera.
after dechlorinating and letting the temp rise (and a slight delay of overnight cos the sand didnt settle), the fish went in and here it is.
please not i havent started my aquascaping at all yet. jus chucked random things i had in to make the fish happy.
oh and no body laugh at my random lighting.
didnt think any tank id own would make my 80G look small.
ill update when i start work properly on the interior.
thanx for looking!
