New Tank And Filters?

I am buying a new tank for cichlids and it is something like 200 litres and i am getting a fluval 305 because of the nature of the fish and as i will have around 18 cichlids in there. My question is the tanks comes with a fluval 4 plus and i was gonna sell it as i an getting the external so should i sell the fluval 4plus or should i use both filters.
-Points to considder.
I am in my last year of school and low on cash so should i sell it.
I dont like the look on an internal on the inside.
Would it really change the amount i have to clean the tank.

I would just use the external.... more room in the tank, less disturbance when the internal needs cleaning.

internal filters suck, external is the way to go.

If you ask your lfs nicely they might allow you to take the 4 plus out of the kit and pay the extra for the upgrade don't waste your time trying to sell it, its not worth the carraige you would be better of keeping it as a backup the foams for both are identical and so if you have aproblem you can transfer media.

Well the tanks is X price and this flter comes free so that is not really applicacble.

what kind of cichlids are you planning on keeping?

if you'll be overstocking the tank, a second filter is always a good idea
it's always a good idea to have a a standby unit in case something happens on december 31st at 5pm and then all the stores are closed for 2 days!

Maybee in quebec they do
But the tank wont even have fish in at this point in time.
