Hi all!

I was looking to investing in to another nano tank. I was thinking around 25L - 50L. It's going to be asian themed (Siamese fighter, cherry shrimp, planted so plants from around that area and possibly rasboras if I can fit them.) I was also wondering if you can get external filters for smaller tanks, does anyone know of any?

At the moment I'm looking at Aqua One's Aquastart 320T but changing the filter for an external if possible. I will also be adding canister Co2.

So to sum up; it needs good lighting for high light plants, external filter access if possible but not necessary if the filter is good and access for Co2 as well.

I've got a Aqua One Aquanano 30 and I've had a AquaStart 320 before though I have no idea if you can fit a external filter though the gaps so I'm interested to see if anyone knows.

Thanks for reading and any help! :)

And cubed unless no longer than 40cm. (Y)

Just noticed the Juwel Vio. That looks like a fairly nice tank.

You can get HOB filters for smaller tanks, they generally look nicer than internals. There's also small externals like the Eden 501, and I think All Pond Solutions do a small external for up to 70 ltrs. Beyond that I don't know sorry! Never used a smaller external.

Marineland's Penguin line are nice (and reasonably priced) Hang on the Back filters. I use their 200 and 350 models. Easy to use, easy to clean. Just fill the back up with water before plugging in to help prime the pump. Then, watch it go. These come with a biowheel, if that's important to you.
