Lisa I'm saying the tiger oscar, not tiger oscars in general but THIS tiger oscar with THIS pattern, will change it's simple.

Yes the red oscars etc. don't always change but when have you seen the marking THIS oscar has as an adult?

'Tis just a young one, it will loose that pattern as it grows.

Tiger oscars don't "lose" their pattern, they gain some red to the stripes generally in the yellower bits with good care and diet. Some of the top of the stripes will turn olive greenish. I've never seen a tiger oscar lose it's pattern as you keep suggesting.
