I have my 1st pack of AI assisted water test strips coming…. a multi test strip, with an app, that you scan the used test strip, and it interprets the colors for you… is supposed to be more accurate, than you can read the strips and match to a color scale… curious if anyone has tried any of these new fangled test strips yet… I bought these, as they also test nitrates, and are intended for drinking water, and knowing I have nitrates in my well water, figure that will make me more informed about my hard water used for water changes… this is what all is tested

they arrive today… thoughts???

this company also makes a 10 in 1 aquarium test strip… the drinking water test strips I ordered, are 20 in 1 test strips…
I ‘m just curious if anyone has tried these new fangled test strips with an app???

typically actual ratings numbers are pretty low, and a pretty high percentage of negative ratings… which can be expected on something newer… I’ll give it a shot, but am skeptical

The future!

With as many tanks as I have, that would break the bank.

I think I’m getting goofy results, performing the tests at night, under indoor lighting…

both soft water tests, and well water tests show really high levels of Cyanuric acid… less of nitrates…

coincidentally across the road, 3 years in a row, the owners of that ground ( 1/4 mile from our well, injected 100’s of semi loads of sewer sludge in their field.. .

still digging, not trying to jump to any conclusions

ok, this system is total crap… I got a high chlorine level out of my drinking water RO unit, that is fed by house softened well water… no chlorine in the well water, or at the house softened tap… I got no reading of the cyanuric acid, which the RO should remove… but random spiky readings of everything else tells me this system is completely unreliable

so, I used a professional testing lab when at work ( Minnesota Valley Testing Labratory ) I called them this morning… the cost is going to be 10 times the cost of the test strips, but the results are certifiable… so should be as reliable as is possible, and the results could be used as evidence in court, if ever needed…. a big price to pay, but will be nice to “really” know what is in my water
