New Lighting For Standard Tropical Tank

So my bulb went on me and I was thinking of trying something new.  I've got minimal planting and some common communal fish.  I used to have a 750mm Arcadia white light (T8?).
 
Any suggestions or no-no's?  Thanks, Andy

I'd just stick with the cheap option and replace the T8 tube
 
Just go for a decent brand

t8 lowtech - stick to something in the 6k-7.5k range you should be good

I just use standard daylight tubes. Good makes like GE, osram or phillips generally do it.
