I'm looking for new inspirations for my tank, 350l trigon. This tank is in the sitting room and is very much a focal point, but I'm finding I'm not as interested in it as before. I have the stock in my sig at the moment.

I have tried many different fish for stocking but none can hold my attention or interest in their colours, activity or interaction.

I need some new ideas and inspiration, I am thinking mbuna or brackish but I dont know all that much about them.

I would like to go marine but it is quite a high setup cost!

Saying all that I may just close the tank down for a while.

Cant help you there, havnt done brackish myself, everything I like brackish wise needs a huge tank!

if its a focal point, why not go with a massive shoal?

i have the Trigon 190 in my living room and have 30 cardinals in it and it looks great when shoaling together.

brackish fish arent the most colourfull fish to be honest. monos are nice fish but still lack colour as you want....

I just dont seem to have the interest in the main tank anymore. The 120l and 200l's left with it inhabitants in the back room so really I only see them when feeding or cleaning. To be honest I might go marine or give up for a while. Even after getting the catfish I have wanted for ages it still is not enough.

Brackish was just for the challenge of something new !

You should do both. Give up for a while but use that time to save up for a Marine set up. Then by the end of it you'll have the money and hopefully you'll find you're interested in it again.
