Careful with your arowana and gar. The arowana will not allow any other fish to be at the top level so this may hurt the gar's quality of life.

Whoa - I almost though that catfish was a Crystal Eye good thing it isn't; one would annihilate even the Ray.

i have seen gars and arowanas in communities many times as long as you have a huge tank and the fish are of similar sizes there is a good chance it could work,atm they patrol the top of the tank together.

they eat fish,mussles,prawns,cockles,earthworms,shrimp and your right its not cheap.
