New Fish

Ah ok, well as people have said the 60 litre is going to be far too small for the loach and to be honest its too small for the shark, they can grow to 6" and I would say a 30 gallon would be much more suitable.

I would definately take the loach back if you cant get a 4 foot+ tank and trade it in for some smaller species of fish.
i have had the clown loach for a few years and i think it has stopped growing

What size is it now?Only way it has stopped growing is if it has stunted growth from being in a tank too small Im afraid, if fish dont reach the sizes that they should then there is something wrong.

i cant remember how long they live for but it definatly isn't for a few years...more like 15 years atleast.
i know it may seem like people are against you here but they're just looking for the best interest of the fish.
at the end of the day, its up to you whether you keep it or not, i do however know that the price of clown loaches has risen so much over the past few years so you will be able to ALOT more than what you paid for it.
if you were to do this, you could get a bunch more khuli loaches which will make your single khuli loach come out alot more as they too are sociable fish.
there are a lot more different loaches that just the basic clown loach. some are a lot more suited to your sized tank too.

pink.

the tank is a 60 litre about 2 foot long, the clown loach hides sometimes but when it come out of the rock it swims into the filter flow

Just something about cardinals/neons, Cardinals prefer soft conditions but neons can cope with a wide range of hardness.

ye i agree with pink, we cant make trade in ur clown but at the end of the day, its the best interest of the fish. if it has stopped growing, that means it has stunted growth, what happens with this is tht the organs in the body continue to grow but the fish doesnt so in efect, he suffocates!

if u were thinking of trading him in, u could always get some kuhlii's which are very funny, socialable and CHEAP! my LFS was selling one a couple of months ago @ just £0.99!
