I don't need to chill, just annoyed me when he was told 3 times that SW fish/inverts carn't live in FW.

And last I checked, you were being just as blunt as me, unless you edit another post ;)

okay i'm not sure where ur going with this? but the point is taken I get it !

you now theres a reason he posted this in New to the Hobby section. he is new and wanted to know the answer to a question. and yes he was told 3 times but maby he wanted to make sure.

I can accept that he wanted "to make sure".

But you've really changed your tone in the way your posting in this thread

easy people, yes I am newish to this, but i actually never knew u said it 3 times lol unless i miss-read it.

but what shrimps would be good to have if u were to get one?

I'm sure as other people read it, they'll see that you were being patronising :good:

EDIT: Have a look at amano shrimp, Caridina multidentata or cherry shrimp, Neocaridina Japonica

Not trying to add fuel to the fire, But some species of eel can live very happily in either saltwater or freshwater, The names I know them by are "Broad headed Eel" and the "Narrow headed Eel." They can survive out of water for hours and hours. The local lake that I fish at is around 1 mile from the sea, You can often see eels in the wet grass at nights. Infact, all of the lakes that I fish at have eels in them, Of course they don't breed in freshwater as they return to the Sargasso Sea.

Not sure how this relates to this thread as i'm sure not too many people keep these eels in an aquarium, But there you go. :)
