New Aquascaper! Advice And Suggestions Please

Hi

I have wanted a tropical tank for years, being very interested in river ecosystems etc, and a few days ago my Aunty sourced this one from her attic! The heater was broken and it all stank of rodent, but other than that it was fine.I planted it up 2 days ago, and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for improvement. The standard is very low compared to what i've seen here already so please only constuctive criticism! I got a bit excited when we got the plants home and planted them all in a very non artistic manner!

Hiya Sam, do you have a photo hosting account? (ImageShack, photobucket, etc.) you should use one, I have photobucket but I think they are all as good as each other. Once you have an account you want to upload the picture there and copy the IMG code into your post on here easy peasy!
