Hello I am currently setting up a freshwater 55 gallon fish tank that's been laying around in my garage for a while. I have some questions about the compatibility of the fish I would like to put in it.
1 angelfish
4-5 boesemani rainbowfish
4-5 Cory catfish
1 dojo loach
1 blue gourami

I also wanted to know what kind of low light plants I could put in there. Could I also throw in a marimo moss ball? I currently have a fluval 406 as a filter. Thank you.

You could get more than 4-5 corydoras in there. I would go for 10 personally. They will show more natural behavior that way and be happier. I wouldn't go below 6 corydoras.
I don't know much about angelfish, but i think the gourami and the angelfish won't get along very well. 4-5 boesemani rainbowfish may be too much for a 55 gallon, they get to be 3". If you don't get the gourami it would be fine I think.
