I am pretty confident that any garden centre or farm sales company will stock Potassium Nitrate. On this subject I can help as I have been in fert manufacturing for a few years.

'Pot nit' as it is affectionately known is very common in garden centres and allotment suppliers.as is Potassium phosphate Taylors choice in Crewe for one here in the Uk. Tel 01270 252530

Thanks, I've actually had a look around and was able to find the potassium nitrate and potassium phosphate at many places. It's the trace mix that I can't find. I'm putting together my first planted tank too...a lot of info to take in, eh?

Thanks Oldman, I bookmarked that page. I have some TPN+ on order but I want to try to do my own the next time around...which shouldn't be for awhile given the size of my tank. lol
