Need Some Help Insperation And Ideas For My 270L Tank

So im stuck with what to do with my big tank. Its currently home too 2 bolivian rams 15 black neon tetra 4 cardinal tetra and 4 black phantom tetra and a common plec.

Now im moving my rams to my 70l tank ive been refurbishing along with some of the tetra and having ago at my first planted tank.

Ive added the black angle bead and made the hood myself added a juwel background and resealed the whole tank

I want to keep my plec in the 270l but dont no what take mates to give him. What would people suggest

first thing to do is to go down you local ifs and make a list of fish you like, otherwise you could have soo many suggestion you won't know what to do.

Well i want some decent sized fish. I love discuss but the tank isnt big enough but i also like malawis so im abit stumped

Which tetras are you keeping? Also how big is your common plec, I'm sure you realise eventually he will either need a bigger tank or a new home

What about larger tetras like congo tetras or columbian red-fin tetras? Or you could go for some rainbowfish, I know there's several types that get to about 4 inches ish, you could get a good size group of those in there? There's also keyholes, you might be able to do a pair of those?

Yeah i no about the plec hes my excuse when i want a bigger tank ive had him 4 year now and had a new tank every year lol. I think im going to have to go to QSS caz and see what hes got in. I need to change the substrate as i want black sand now i really want some plants too but mr plec just demolishes them

is your tank big enough for a sev? They're a no no with plants too, so you could make a thing of it lol.

I dunno im gunna go to QSS tomorow ive got plenty of time to choose as i want shut the tank down and give it a really good clean. Its safe to say its been neglected since i started my new job

Anyway...! What you gonna ask em at QSS? What large cichlids they got, or what they would do with it? I think if it were me (and I wanted fish larger than tetras, I'd be inclined to get rainbows, and maybe a cichlid as a centerpiece.
