Hey guys,
So i gave nan & graddad has my old 55g tank and its startin to look a lil bare now its been set up about 4/5yr and they are wanting to add sum new fish they have given me there 13" sailfin pleco so that has feed more room up i rali cant think of any thing sutable to mix as there is a 5" female blood parrot that they absolutly addore but she can be a bit of a bully as i found out when i added 1 of my oscars(very frendly) to the tank and she nerarly KILLED it when i first got the tank i got 3 tiny 2" parrot fish and a 7" male convict to say it didnt work at all as all 3 parrpt fish turned black untill i got rid of the convict ( could it work now tho) in the tank now are as follows

TANK MATES
1X FEMALE PARROT CICHLID
1X BALA/SILVER SHARK (MAY BE REMOVED)
2X IRRIDESANT SHARKS (HOW BIG DO THESE ACTUALY GET AS WAS TOLD IN LFS MAX 7")
1X ANGLE (BULLED BY PARROT)
1X BRISTLENOSE PLECO
2X MALE GUPPIES (BECOMING FEEDERS)
PLATIES (BEING EATEN AT NIGHT BY SUMTHING).

WHAT COULD GO WITH THESE AS NOT BOTHERED IT PLATIES AN GUPPIES ARE EATEN AS BECOMING A HEAD ACHE
ANGLE CAN BE MOVED SO REALY ANY THING CONPATABLE WITH PARROTS AND BALA SHARKS

ITS REALLY HARD TO READ YOUR POST WHEN YOU TYPE IN ALL CAPITALS AND I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO LEARN PROPER PUNCTUATION ALSO IT WOULD BE HELPFUL TO READ UP ON BETTER GRAMMAR

I think your right about the IRRIDESANT SHARKS being ~7 inches, I think they might get up to 10"?

The PLATIES may be being eaten by the FEMALE PARROT CICHLID. But i'm no expert on cichlids.

And never trust the LFS/petco people to help you with stocking. They are in this for money, not to save fish. Like putting guppies in with FEMALE PARROT CICHLIDs? This is why you research BEFORE you buy. just sayin'

Reasonable sized convicts and firemouths should do well. SHould be able to hold their own against the parrot, but will not grow too big.

Iridescent sharks are actually pangasius catfish, which get to between 3 and 5 feet.

In a 55 gallon I would rehome all but the parrot and the bristlenose. Then I agree with Hamfist about stuff like Firemouths but I would aire on the side of caution if you add convicts.

More blood parrots would be good in there as well if your into them :/

Oh i was think in of the hi fin banded sharks.. my mistake..

Silver sharks get about 7-10 inches.

Silver Sharks aka Bala Sharks get to 12-16 inches - any smaller is due to stunting. And why I said rehome all but the BN and the parrot cichlid.
