Need fish ID

Purchased 2 fish a couple of months ago. I forget what kind they are. I believe they are a cichlid but not 100% sure what kind. Here is a picture.

It looks like an African Butterfly Cichlid

Mix of reports saying they are either quite shy and peacful or an absolute nightmare. What size tank do you have and how many do you have, what are their tank mates etc?

yes it is A. thomasi. They are relatively peaceful and usually do well in community tanks.
