Mystery Pit

Noticed this morning that someone has dug quite a deep pit in the front corner of the tank.

Do cichlids randomly do this now and then or is this just yet more strangeness within my tank? Nobody seems to be showing any interest in it

I always find pits in my tank that have no reason for being there both my larger sev and my nic like to sit just above the sand and then swish their fins to kick up the sand up they also par take in regular construction work with bits of wood as well.....

Probably one of the geos, could have dug a hole to sleep in maybe...

I would bet on the geo's. My Brazilliensis have totally re-scaped my carefully thought out aquascape

My Keyhole has done this several times lately. Think he's getting randy

my female nic has dug a massive hole at the front left corner of my tank i fill it in and what does she do? Digs it again.
