why are you asking if you've already made your mind up then? you only accept what you want to hear, and you just ask again and again until you hear what you want. follow the 1inch per gallon rule and do some homework on fish compatibility.

i think i should no about growth rates after keeping fish for 12 years! and keeping most of the commonly seen species.

So why are you now attempting to shove it full of fish? Why do you want an oto anyway? And... why are you cycling with danios? Poor things, stuck in a pair (that will possibly kill each other) in a tiny tank... Why not just have a decent (ish) sized group of tetras? It's only a 7g...

Hello.

Otto's are too fragile for your tank, wait about 6 months before adding them.
Tetras need to be kept in a school of 6

6 tetras and a honey gourami is fully stocked.

If your not bothered to listen too jayjay or other aquarists then go buy your fish and watch them die.

have you never heard of overstocking how can you say that you like understocked tanks then go and fill it with all those fish.

those danios can't be happy!

so you have a 6g tank with the water level a little below the top with all decor and everything. that you told me has only been set-up a few weeks which you lied about.

your after getting 12 inches of fish in a 6g tank and then your saying everything is going to be ok how do you know!

you should follow the 1inch per g rule with little fish like a shoal of tetra.
even though you don't listen to any advice i'll give it one last go.

tetra-man, you should have got that 10 gallon tank you were raving on about, you could easily have 6 tetras, 2 Barbs and a few ottos.

you just were told cherry barbs groups of 6 and then you say i listen to advice the advice given was to go with tetra and don't have the otto i see where you picked up pointers there! you tank can't support 6 cherry barbs and a otto anyway.

Just get 6 tetras and you could probably have an Otto after 6 months.

My god, that stocking list is the same as your first one!

Dont get the cherry barbs or ottos, the ottos will just die.
