Oh Bless...he had some very happy days with you, so you have nothing at all to feel guilty about. He wasn't just another fish..he was yours. He is now swimming with all the other bettas, a rainbow of bettas in the pond in the sky. It would be such a beautiful sight. Well done you!

Poor boy.

His life was much happier with you than it would have been stuck at that pet store. He probably would have died the next day there.

It's awful to lose one.

I just read all three pages of this... and I am so so sorry you lost him! You worked so hard to save him... it is not your fault he died! If there's anyone to blame, I'd say it's the place you got him from... you did all you could for him!

Again, I am so sorry for your loss! And to you he was more than "just another fish." I've been told that before too, and I wish I could smack everyone that has that attitude. Just remember, non-fish people don't understand. *hugs*
