My New Additions.

Hi, went to Maidenhead today to re-home a 7" Gibbicep I was given a few weeks ago by a retired fishkeeper. The Plec, called Sid is now in a display tank with a Tiger Oscar called 'Sylvester' another Gippicep which is around 12" and a shoal of Tinfoil Barbs.

Whilst I was was there, I thought what a shame it would be for all that bacteria that had built up to go to waste, so I thought i'd add a couple of fish. Came out with a nice pair of Keyhole's around 2-3 inches. I didn't know lots on them, but the guy there gave me all the info on them, which turns out to be all correct from what i've read...

I really think I have a m/f pair but i'm not 100%. One has a easily noticable pontier dorsal fin than the other.

Anyways, here are the little lovelys.

Never seen the Krib's colour show with so much black! He's calmed down now though.

Great fish Keyholes very underated as mentioned

for a bland fish they are actually very attractive in the tank especially when older and bigger

your Keyholes are a pair, your right with your sexing their.

I have a male Krib in the tank now. And they are currently breeding.

But im soon to let go of the Kribs as im restocking my tank.

+1 that Krib is certainly a female. The male's belly isnt are round as females
But your female krib has really nice colours

The Keyhole Cichlids will probably get around 5"
The Kribensis Cichlids will probably max out around 4"
