I'm doing 50% water changes every 2 to 3 days since it's a new tank and I've added a bunch of moss, some in the front you can see and a big patch in the back left corner for a carpet... also lowered the light I'm considered that this "plant" light of 18w doesn't actually reach down into the water very well. So I'm attempting to see if I'm right or wrong dosing 1 squirt of ThriveS every 2 days.

Updates, updates? Ummm. Yes!

Sadly my Betta died & that's mainly the reason for no updates here... I'm not sure exactly what the cause was, but I've made sure to keep the water parameters good and maintain a healthy system....

As for other updates;
Ive got Neocaridina Shrimp (Blue Dream) & Pygmy Cory's "Pygmaeus" the fish are the size of the shrimp, Soooo tiny...

So because of this, I now have a 2nd tank lol
I also upgraded the fish tank Stand, it's a DIY kinda. It's a wack together of 2 different types of storage cabinets & a peice of lumbar from the hardware store hahah...

Excuse the Horrible mess, I'm still working on making things Photo pretty

The 2nd tank ( 4gal ) is gonna be shrimp only tank and the 1st tank ( 6gal ) will be specifically for the Pygmy Cory's...

I still have to move the 6 Gal into this new 6 ft stand.... The 4 gal, photo above is not done lol just tossed plants and bacteria in here to help things out, the filter + media on this tank came from the larger tank after weeks of use, growing bacteria... I also using my kids bedside led lamp to grow micro fauna so the shrimps + snails can graze in a week when they get tossed in also. For now I'm hand feeding Pellet food.

Looks great! Where did the find the small vase in the center? Been wanting to do a nano tank like that for a while.

From the dollar store, these are small vases. With Anubias & Bucephalandra in them for now. They are actlmating to living underwater.
