So I just joined and thought I would share some pictures of why I joined.

This little group of mollies will hopefully make me some nice babies. I'm pretty proud of them actually. I have two males and three females, plus two little dalmation girls that will grow up for later. I really like the sailfin mollies, and they aren't super special or anything, but I love them. lol. I know two males can get a aggressive, but these two males have been together for a while and are fine. I have been checking for signs of stress between them and the other fish in the tank and they are fine. If they do decide to fight in the future, i have a tank ready for one to be moved in.

So here's the group, I hope the females start having some babies soon. lol.

This guy's sail is huge, but he sadly would not show it off when I took the pictures...

So...what do you guys think.? The orange one usually likes to show off for the ladies the most. I also have three babies from a female I use to have. She sadly died shortly have their birth. I had the babies seperate from her and most of them passed away due to some kind of illness I believe. I'm not sure. The remaining three are going strong though.

Hello could you please tell me what kind of molly is the top one ???? First picture black molly. This is crazy I have 3 of those 1 male and 2 females that I raised from very little and they were given to me for free at our local pet store because the guys did not know what kind of molly they are and had them with the feeder guppies placed for feeder fish. Since than they grew pretty large and have been kind of aggressive when it comes up to feeding them :) They are really cool fish though I like how they always pick stuff around the tank and keep it clean. I have 1 male balloon molly with them that seems to not be bothered by them but he is huge :) Also the weird thing about them is when I got them they were the same size and with the time one got really large and changed color to almost black and turned out to be male, one is the same color like your picture and middle sized and I have one that stayed tiny and has more white on her :D Any info would be appreciated :D I know that if you rise the temperature a little and add a little aquarium salt to your tank you may stimulate the male to breed, or at least my balloon molly used to get flirty with my old yellow female who died in the summer... Anyways have a good day and thank you for posting this

p.s. I live in Alaska so every fish up here is getting shipped from the lower 48 there is few local people that would drop fish off to the pet store and that is how my mystery mollies ended up in the feeder fish :)
