My Lfs Has Snails On There Plants

They have there plants in a separate tank with some kind of fish and some snails, is this common practice ? I bought the plants there sone water sprites but what to do if i have a outbreak?

Yes it is quite common. I always check new plants for any slimy substances ie eggs. If they get in the tank, pull adults out and feed the tank less so they do not repoduce.

You make it sound like they're selling plants with free AIDS or something, snails are great, keeping their numbers in control is easy, don't over feed and remove any rotting matter - simples

you shouldnt expect anything less from a LFS, snails are in 99% of the plants sold unless you buy them online from people who sepecialise in plants then you are far more likely to get snail free plants. Still a high chance of getting some though.
