These ones are small hoplos and they're actually very good with my plants! No worse than cories

I love Hoplo catfish! Every time I go to my LFS I watch them zoom around the tanks and they are so cute! I can't get any though since I don't have the proper tank size for them

There are smaller ones... hoplosternum punctatum are what I got, they stay 3 inches! I wouldn't go smaller than a 40 gallon tank for them due to their activity level, but they don't need a huge tank like their larger cousins

Do it. Seriously, if you think cories got personality, these guys will blow you away. Hands down the most personable fish I've ever met. See the link above, this is a small species of hoplo.
