Well it's only just cycled therefore only have two fish in it at the moment - shown below and i am going to add more tomorrow :)

Currently has two Sunset platys in there i think a male and female so tomorrow will be buying two more females to curb the harassment!

Comments would be appreciated.

P.S i am aware after setting it all up that it does actually look like it belongs in a six year olds bedroom! :( lol

Ace pics there. Tank and fish look great too.
Be sure to give us an update when more fish come.
What else are you planning on having apart from more platties?

Was thinking some tetra's maybe neon and possibly some black mollies.

Not sure about those though need to research whether the neon's and mollies are compatible in terms of the water hardness, PH and salt content.

I really wanted an angel fish but i guess they'll grow way too big for my tank size (60 Litre)!

So would i be able to actually add an angel fish to this size tank or would that not be advisable?

Most tetras would be fine. Black Mollies i would urge you not to get as they are brakish and prefer it.
Yes you are right. 60 litre isnt enough for an Angelfish. Hey, it's an excuse to get another tank ;)

Your tank looks great. Fantastic for your first tank! :good:

And Thanks stang1 - next time i think ill add a more natural river-bed floor imitating substrate and obviously not have the huge ornamental coral rock :S lol

So any1 - about that angel-fish?!

I thought so - oh well look on the bright side will have to convince my parents for a 100 gallon next year you're right on that one! hehe

I was thrown off as to thinking it could be a possibility by the fact that my cousin had two angel fish in his 30 Liter! - Think he will move them once they are older though...

nice for a first timer!

Thanks - i think what with the shells and the corals i got from St Lucia over the air stone it looks quite kewl :)

Nice. I like it. Makes my 60L look sh.....

anyway I'm working on the science bit first. That's my excuse & i'm sticking to it.

@PrettyDiscus. 60L = 16 US Gallons = 13 UK Gallons. Which I'm sure you knew, jsut missed the 60L reference above.

Andy

PS
Gallons are a stupid measurement. Hate to admit it, but i'm with the French on going with Metric!
