I had the same one and it used to pick on my honey gourmai, but i had to euthanize him because he had a growth that split open and he was dying anyway.

This has been the funniest thread i have read in ages! Your gourami will be fine, mine have lost feelers in the past. Just keep your water clean and it will heal up and grow back!

it looks like a honey gourami...

it's not a good idea to buy fish without being sure what you are getting... you might also have a juvenile giant gourami and they grow a metre long!

in that case... the feeler would be the least of your worries

i think it is a red honey one i am sure - looks like i'll be needing a bigger tank then!

I think they only get to about 2 inches

I have had two of them before in a small tank so it should be absolutely fine in your tank

Yeah honey gouramis are fine in small tanks, best one for a small tank really, ps im not worried about cancer, im a shark.

3 of those tanks (the 4th will be on the floor so not supported by the frame) adds up to a quarter of a metric tonne of water.
