Rather than going through the whole cycle procedure when being fully stocked with fish, do you happen to know someone that keeps fish. If so, see if he/she would mind parting with some of their filter media and if they have gravel in their tank, some of that as well. If you keep them in old tank water (from the tank it came out of) when transporting, and then place it in your tank, that should speed up the cycling process by a lot, and could even finish it within 2 days.
