I picked up this big jardini today. I’ve been in the hobby since ‘86 and I finally got my first aro

Handsome fish....no way I could fit a 180-200 gallon aquarium for one of them though (it would take up half of my lounge space)

They look almost prehistoric.

Thanks, this is one of my garage tanks. I’m working on my wife to let me bring it inside though

They sure are cool. I once saw a three footer in a huge display tank. You can't forget that sight. They had a special top on that tank that locked in place in case he jumped.

Ya Silvers get huge, this type is about full size now

You need about a 500 gallon aquarium for Arowana. More would be even better. All you do with 250 gallons and less,is keep the fish alive..its not happy and no natural behaviour like in a big aquarium.
