Fish Crazy
Well i've got a pair now, a male and female.
They are feeding better although they are still difficult to actually get food to. Any food dropped at teh top of the tank gets very quickly demolished by the barbs so i've taken to splitting the feed. The best way i've found so far is to drop food at the top of the tank to distract the barbs (a frozen 'block' of mix/daph/bloodworms) who spend a few minutes going nuts... while the commotion is happening to drop, or hand down, some defrosted 'large' food to their hiding place. Seems to be about 50% effective so far.
Mussels/cockles is a new one on me, would they really accept them? Cockles would be great news as swansea is a massive cockle producer
