id like to have puffers one day, but there really tiny lol im interested more in big fish.
are they fairly easy to care for and can you keep them ina small group ?

I think they're easy to take care of. . .

Cycled tank, good vegetation, keep on the water changes, live foods, a snail on occasion, & sit back to see their personalities come out. :D

most of them are considered to be quite territorial and don't really behave themselves well with perceived competitors (i.e. other puffers). however, the SAP reportedly exhibits shoaling behavior in the wild and, in theory, should do well in a sufficiently large group. but since such a group would need to contain upwards of 6 SAPs, not many people are interested in testing the theory... largely because what happens if your wrong? thats 5 extra 10gs you'd suddenly need to locate.
