Ok bare with me it may take a few goes to get the pictures right! It's a 6.5ft tank currently stocked only with Pseudotropheus Acei and Synotodontis Petricola. Decorated with River Cobbles, slate, a couple of pieces of rainbow rock and two grey rock effect decorations (which may come out soon!)

I'm also not using the best quality camera.

Any tips/observations?

Yeah I do plan to add a lot more.

Given that all my fish will be wild caught it is a gradual saving process. The Acei in there cost me £125 with delivery alone!

I'm saving up to buy a big group of several species i.e 30-40 at once some time soon.

Great looking tank Kenny,i wish i had a tank that size.

The plant, either real or fake looks out of place if you ask me but other than that looks great. :)

yikes thats a pretty penny.

well i think your layouts great.

how come your wanting wild fish? ive never read much about them, advantages or disadvantages.

The general quality of wild caught fish is good, and they produce F1 fry which is a selling advantage!

Could i ask what f1 fry is, ? is it first class, like the best quality ?

They're the offspring of wild caught fish.

Maybe hide the hardware behind the rocks if you can?

Nice tank - i love the long tanks that give fish lots of room to swim.
Are you wanting to plant it up some more? maybe concentrate on planting one (right) side of the tank?

I'm pretty much going to avoid plants as it's unnatural in a Mbuna Aquarium imho. I've been using the long fake, central one, in there for the benefit of the Syno's. It just helps encourage them to come out into the open a little more. Once they become more confident I'll take them out.

Sam when you think about it 60 would look awful. Imagine a tank with 60 6"+ fish in. I love the tank kenny. Where are you located.

Kidderminster in the West Midlands. Interested in fry maybe?

I don't plan to add as much as 60 fish. I'm going to build them up in groups of 10-15 I think. I'll see how it looks after adding my next batch.

I do like certain species like Hongi, Afra Cobue's etc. I'll see what's available nearer the time.

Great tank Kenny Rena aquariums are quality it will look awesome.

Tips/advice - My first tanks just cycling but I`d say a darker background and just one type of rock or more uniformity rather than different types/colours.
To get a better shot of the tank try at night with all the light blocked out from the room, put the lights on the tank and take a picture with the flash off.

Keep us informed on the updates and good work.
