My 6.5ft Mbuna Aquarium. Thoughts/tips/opinions Please.

Yeah I do plan to add a lot more.

Given that all my fish will be wild caught it is a gradual saving process. The Acei in there cost me £125 with delivery alone!

I'm saving up to buy a big group of several species i.e 30-40 at once some time soon.

If you are into Wild Africans then have a chat with this seller from ebay ;)

I have had some stunning fish from him and from the sounds of it he is a little cheaper than the prices you are paying. I just purchase a stunning trio of wild Maylandia estherae with a real blue male! He runs a shop in syston leicester which is well worth a visit.

The tank looks stunning by the way!

I think some more plants would make it look awsome, i like how you stacked the rocks :good:
Not many plants survive in a mbuna tank though!!

The only tip I can give is give it a bit more colour, the fish look a bit bland too...

Neal
Its his first fish neal, give it a bit of time and they will colour up nicely!!

Nice tank btw Chris!!

The fish do look a bit bland in the pictures.

However that's due to the camera quality. They have coloured up fantastically well since the week i got them and after feeding NLS pellets.

Pictures don't do them justice!
