My 2Ft Tank.

I like the way you have that water sprite planted in an elevated position, it gives the tank a bit of a splash of color.

Whic ones that? Is that the one in the glass dish? The light green ones are DIY plants that i carefully cleaned and cut then weighted down. Btw the tweezers are for feeding time when i'm feeding algae tablets. Because i have to hold half of it in the tank water so it softens up because my corys don't eat a full one in 24 hours.

Stocking:
10 guppies.
4 corys.

Filter:
Hagen fluval 2 plus internal 24usg.

Recommended temperature range: 22 - 27 C. [Display in Farenheit]
Recommended pH range: 5.5 - 7.8.
Recommended hardness range: 1 - 15 dH.

Warning: You NEED to add more aquarium filtration capacity!!!

Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 64%.
Recommended water change schedule: 57% per week. (You might want to split this water change schedule to two separate 34% per week)
Your aquarium stocking level is 168%.
Your tank is seriously overstocked. Unless this setup is temporary, you should consider a larger tank.

The 10 guppies and 4 corys is my future plans for the tank if this is possible if not i will stick with 3 corys and 5 - 6 guppies.

Don't stress out about anything that aquadvisor tells you. It is a software solution from a person who is quite knowledgeable about software but does not seem to be very knowledgeable about fish. I have been on many forums where that particular person has posted a thread and, just like our forum, the people have given him data that may or may not be correct. I am absolutely certain, having spent some time there, that some of the sources he uses for information are terrible. When the resulting calculations say that something is good or bad, I take that as the advice of a single, partially misinformed, person. If you get lucky, the information that you have happens to be the correct information. In my own estimation, a 12 gallons real volume, probably called a 15 gallon, that has your stocking would take a 25% water change weekly to maintain it and if you have significant plantings you could cut that back. Once again, I am a single person whose advice is only as dependable as any single person can be.

Ok well my tank is definitely a 12 gallon 2ft tank because i used fish lores aquarium calculator to determine the volume of it.
So does this mean i can probably get away with 4 corys and 5-6 guppies instead of 10?

I would suggest that you are fine as is without removing any fish. I have a 10 gallon with more guppies than that in it. Many of mine are fry but your fish level ia not so high that you really need to do 60% water changes. Unless you tend to overfeed, you can probably get away with doing a 2 or 3 gallon change once a week and have perfectly happy fish in your tank.

ok well atm i do a 25% water change (3 gallons) once a week.

20ppm but i'm getting some more live plants asap.

The 20 ppm is telling you that you are doing enough water changes and the tank is not overpopulated. If you get good growth from your new plants, you will see nitrates drop.

Ok. Any ideas what i can have in my 15 gallon hexagon tank? I have decided that if i do not like any of the suggestions that i would like a sorority of female fighters.

Well midnight dropped her second batch of fry today. Caught her in the act. At 1 time she dropped 7 non stop.

I am certainly not lucky. I have to find homes for 100+ fry now! Some are 3 weeks 4 days, some are 1 week old and some are 1 day old.
