Multiple Tank Syndrome Anyone?!?

OMG, star4, I think you've nailed it.
Astrological water signs - I'm Scorpio...
Starting from one side of my room, on a shared wall with another bedroom - in a sturdily-built older home - I have a 35 gallon with a ten under it, planning to move a little 3 gallon currently downstairs in beside it someday, down along the adjoining outside wall, I have what will be (once the tank's are shifted around) two 15 gallon tanks side by side, (eventually...) a 5-foot-long, approx. 2ft. wide, solid-bottomed double-shelved stand my brother has been going to build for me for some time) with a nice low, wide 30 gallon and a 10 on top and I hope to have other tanks on the lower shelf although my Dad's worried about the floor caving in, as is my brother - who nonetheless wanted to stack EVERY TANK I CURRENTLY HAVE along that one wall and thought THAT would be safe, although that would make me nervous where adding a couple more tanks to that bottom shelf wouldn't.
(He also thinks fish tanks and bookshelves around rooms are messy - we have wildly differing views regarding interior decoration.)
In the corner between that and another outside wall, a 15 gallon angled, with a space for a light desk in front of the window, followed by a dresser with a 10 and 5 gallon on top, and on the inside corner of the next wall, a 25 gallon with a 5 beneath and between that and the door some shelving with two 5 gallon tanks on the bottom, a couple of 3 gallon hexes and various fish-related stuff.
(Don't think I've missed anything.)
I keep eyeing the bed and wondering if I really need that, but where else would I dump boxes of fish stuff when I'm searching for things?

As you see, I don't have ROOM to develop MTS, especially if I can talk my parents into letting me have a few breeders in the rec room nobody ever uses...
