sorry about your pleco.i too have lost 4 pleco's,an otto and an apple snail.so far the only luck i've had with bottom feeders is cory's.hopefully you'll find all you need to know here and will have more luck in the future with plecos.welcome

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

I'm going to wait until I get my bigger tank before I attempt with another pleco... It was so sad when mine died. Everyone kept calling me silly its only a fish etc etc. But they are cute and friendly and you can't help but like them...

Fingers crossed everything will continue to be ok. My other fish show no signs of disease etc so I think it was just my pleco.
