Moon sand?

What colour is it ?
and, were do you get it?
Australia has some pretty funny Laws!

Is all lime stone fine for cichlid tanks or do you need to buy it?
Because we live by the beach there is alot of lime stone arond how would we be sure that it was not toxic to the water and fish?
Salt content in shells and lime stone is it dangeous to the fish?

i have black tahiti moon sand in my tank that i got at the fish store and it is great i know you can have it shipped but im sure it would cost a lot

I got tahiti moon sand--black--from drsfosterandsmith.com. I've dealt with them for years and now on the internet. There is an additional shipping charge of $4.50 per bag. Black Tahit Moon sand is in 20# bags. There is also a base shipping fee of $7 or $8. But the cost is so much less than the local stores and no tax. PetSmart also has black moon sand and ships via the internet. The advantage to PetSmart is the orders can be exchanged in the local store. Of course I'm in California.
