Mollys Going Mad Help!

hi ime new here and desprate to save me fish

got a fish tank and set it all up properly heater, pump etc cleaned gravel etc

we added when all ready 4X MOLLYS a white, white with balck spots, orange and black spots and a all black (the biggest)

now all was fine they got along happy

we then added 3X male GUPPYS


2 days after 1 guppy died found it missing a fin and scale damage


then a day after the black molly started fighting big style with the white with black spots molly violently. we removed blackie and added him back in 10mins later and within a hour at it again. we believe the plain white is the female as the spotted white kept going under her if know what mean.

we stuck now waht to do as we cant leave the black fish in the tank or out of the tank??

It doesn't sound like you've got enough females for each male.
There should be 2 females to each male, this will lower the aggression, but also will put less stress on the females.

Poor water quailty can cause aggression.

Did you cycle the tank before you put the mollies in?

Have you tested the water? Ammonia should be less than 0.25. Do large water changes if you havn't got a testing kit do large water changes. That could also be the reason why your guppy died.

we have done 25% water changes to keep it clean etc used all the usual additives etc. lets teh fish in bag floating etc before adding them in. it just rather violent fish to sya we were told there nice fish
