Molly Question - Ill Fish?

Noticed today a singular white spot has appeared on our male black Molly?? It's on the side of his body close to his tail, he's quite happily chasing the females eating well etc but just has this 1 white spot.

Only way I can describe it is being slightly raised - kinda like a pimple but with a slightly furry appearance like mould??

No other fish have anything on them that I can see.

Sorry for another question, still learning the ropes with the fish keeping

Sounds a bit like columnaris to me but I am no expert.
Why not post a detailed description inn the Tropical Emergencies section? People there are more experienced at diseases than those of us who mainly deal with healthy fish.
