ok so i was wondering about purchasing a blue crayfish for my 20 gallon semi agressive aquarium. currently i have 3 black finned tetras, a clown loach, a rainbow shark, and a leporinus fasciatus. My loach and rainbow shark are about 2-3 inches long. Will the crayfish eat them or no? i have read mixed reviews some claiming they would be killed some saying thay havent lost a single fish. so please HELP

Hey bwarn :) Welcome to the forum!

First up, I would suggest you upgrade your tank before thinking about adding anything else. You've got some fish there that have very big adult sizes, so I'd say you need to look at upgrading to a much bigger tank if you want to keep them, or rehome them if you can't.
For example, your leporinus fasciatus will reach 30cm and needs at least a 55 gallon, the clown loach could reach anything up to 40cm and needs to be kept in groups, and the rainbow shark can get up to 15cm in length. So I'd concentrate on saving up for a tank suitable to keep these guys happy long term first :good:

In general, pincers + fish = trouble. Some people might get away with it. depending on the temperament of the particular crayfish, but it's not something I think you should be experimenting with, tbh. Better get a separate tank for the cray, if you want one.

I also agree with Flute about the stocking you already have. Your tank is way too small for some of those fish. I know it's not what you asked about, but we always feel we should make people aware of any other potential problems, so you know for the future :good:

Yup, the first thing that jumped out to me was the adult size of some of the fish you already have.

upgrade your tank, and if the crayfish isn't fed then he will go after your fish if he can catch them. so make sure that he is fed!

thanks guys i have a 55 gallon im going to transfer the lep and the loach into theyre still small though so i didnt want them to get bullied
