I noticed when I got home today, as my six line wrasse came swimming up to say hi, he had a pea sized orange spot on his side. Its a very fluorescent orange, like someone took a highlighter and put a dot there.
On the spot, where he normally has two orange stripes, the stripes have become a deeper orange color. I can't see any raised edges, or scales on the spot.
Other than this he seems fine, acting like his normal self.

I'm making the assumption that maybe he scraped himself against some of the LR. I just wanted some input.

He's a wrasse, so no hope for a pic :p

 Can't get him to sit still huh? ;). Could very well be he scraped himself on a rock. Wrasses are prone to this as they often bury themselves under rocks or in sand at night to sleep. Just keep him well fed and let his immune system do the talking :good:

Still fine today, Spot looks the same as it did yesterday.
The day that fish stops eating is the day hell freezes over
