Meet Sandi And Frosti - Health Update

they just when to the vet today for injections and found out they have lost 1 kilo each in 6 weeks ( frosti was 7 kg and sandi was 5.5 kg), apparently this was due to a combination of stress after rehoming, more active since rehomed ( they were indoor cats until i had them) and me not buying the right kind of food for them. the vet now advice me a brand of food which is right for them and hopefully they will put the weight back on. i now fell like a really bad parent

its happend to the best of us, but stressed? i have seen a stressed cat, n the boys deffinantly didnt seem stressed! simba, our stray cat looks exactly like sandi, n bout that size too. they are both gorgouse and look very well looked after.

awww I really want to get a kitty and those pic's just made me want a kitty even more, I live in an apartment at the moment so I can only have fish but my partner and I are going to move into a house soon so we can have more pets

is been 2 days with the new diet and i think sandi is filling up i bit but he still abit reserve - probably still feeling sorry for himself after the injection. the one thing i've notice with the new diet is that they are drinking a lot more water. they go through a big bowl each day.

back again from the vet today for2nd injections. they both have put some weight back on, but the vet think the last vet who weigh them didn't weight properly. as they can't really put weight on that quickly ( frosti now on 6.8 kg and sandy now on 5 kg). anyway, they have a clean bill of health by the vet. - and i think sandi is really pleased to hear that as he absolutly hate going to the vet as it meant going in the car - he always ended to peeing and pooped in every journey he take and i have to clean it
