Meet Oliver, My New Masked Mustard Gas H M

Yes, he looks a little demoralized and dejected. Once he knows he's a beautiful fish again (excuse my anthropomorphism) he will fill out again. A pretty lady near by when the time is right will do him wonders. He is used to being admired.

He's already looking better. He's eating really well and swimming around. I'm feeding him live worms to help him revive. I've always found that any betta under the weather does really well on a live high protein diet. He's got his color back. Now, if he can only regrow his fins..... :good:

:flowers:

We want a picture recovery log, please. ^_^

He reminds me of a DT/HM/Butterfly I had once: Samson. When I moved the sorority away from his vicinity, he went into such a depression I thought I would lose him. When I moved him back where he could flirt, he was his old self again.

Awww, poor guy. I'm sure he will be ok

That doesn't even look like the same fish to me. The one in the original pic is blue, and the one you got is green. At least, that's how it looks to me lol

I received my newest bettas via overnight FEDEX Monday. They are just now starting to look like the same fish as were in the seller's photos. They just need time and a loving home to recuperate from the stress of travel.

He's doing well. He's definitely improving. I don't care how long it takes. He's worth the effort. Oh, what am I saying.... they are all worth the effort....

booboo puppy, your name shocked me. For years, I've been known as booboopuppy. How did you come by it?

We call our chihuahua "booboo puppy" but his name is Lobo (wolf). We lived in Montana when we got him, and ALL dogs in Montana are part wolf. But he's really just a "booboo puppy".

I started using "booboopuppy" when I got involved in animal rescue. I called every dog "booboo" because they came to me with such issues, most having been abused both physically and mentally. They all had booboos. :/
