hi, so sorta good news today 
MY GIRLS HAVE FINALLY ARRIVED :)
im really struggling to get pictures so i will do my best to update as i go.

They look great! However, some are showing stress bars, so you'll want to add plenty more plants as soon as you can. How many have you got?
 
Is that duckweed floating at the top? I've been looking into getting some.
 
stress bars? none of the fish have changed appearance from the breeder to here.
20 atm got another 10 coming soon
amazon frogbit if i remember rightly

horizontal stripes on a betta are indicators of stress
 
Stress lines will go away after they are there for a few weeks, normally happens in bad conditions or during shipment. ;)

oh i see. the pictures the breeder sent me originally he had lots looking like that. i thought it was just how they were bred to look.

Yes, however, more plants will help because there are about to be thirty girls in an open space.
