Meet Khan! Our New Betta Boy!

We got a few pics of him, even if theyre a little blurry, you can still make out his colour. Better ones to come, especially since we can't decide whether he's a combtail or a crowntail. He was living with angelfish until we bought him so we think he has one pelvic fin shorter than the other but we love him to bits.

Here's Khan sitting on the filter which he seems to enjoy.

He is If I was a fish, I'd be even more in love.

He's kinda pink which goes into purple and then deep red. Wish I could get better pics though, we still can't work out if he's crown or combtail.

I can't tell from the photo, I'm afraid.
Photos never do them justice, do they? My boys have beautiful colours in them but they never come out that well in my pictures!

We're waiting for a better light to put on the tank. Took those with a torch and he got a bit offended. Hopefully the new light will come tomorrow so better pictures will be in order.

I think he might be a crown tail but hard to tell without a flare, hes lovely though

Khan is a great looking Betta, I'd definitely love to see some pictures of him flaring!

We got him from Hellesdon Barns. Its a kinda craft/garden centre. It has like individual shops if that makes sense but the aquarium part has only just opened. Its lovely in there; great range of fish. Loads of cory species. And we spotted they had some interesting bettas in there so set up a tank and got Khan. There was a gorgeous veil tail in there too. Beautiful colours. They get different tail types in so quite a good range.

Place is near the Crop science place off the ring road. Apparantly boyfriend reckons its off Sweetbriar road.
