Max Size Of Blue Acara?

As said the rummy nose and corys are at risk of getting eaten if they are small, but the other tankmates should be fine.
My recently deceased acara lived fine with a pair of keyholes and a few angels amongst others, he did eventually eat my small serpae tetras though

everyones got different experiences but that can be said for most cichlids,

every single Blue Acara over 4" that i have had, has been difficult (as in too aggro, even with other Cichlids of a similar size), i know thats probably not the norm, but thats my experience, from x3 different Blue Acara's

I love these fish, i still have dreams of a nice set-up with Blue Acara's and maybe GT's, although be risky

You must have had a different experience with your blue acara than I did with mine. Way back when I first started I had one in a community tank and it behaved pretty well, though it died prematurely for some unkown reason. Blue acaras are pretty peaceful by cichlid standars, though like I said each one is different.

I agree blue acaras are pretty peaceful for a cichlid but that doesn't stop them eating things when they go nuts :) I think it was more to do with their size compared to everyone else in the tank and when they started breeding the bullied hell out of everyone. By comparison to a green terror (Aequidens rivulatus) they are a pussy cat. I wouldn't keep a green terror in a tank with anything except bigger tougher cichlids.

They go just about everywhere if I rememer correctly. As shroob said their aggression depends on the fish, how big are pygmy cory's though?
pigmy corys grow to less than an inch total length. Most are only about 1/2 inch.
