actually marine biology might not be the same as oceanography with that you wont do rocks etc but there will be other things like plants and youll probably need chemistry. and of course, biology.

it is - and i thought marine biology was the same - but i think bits of it are - but you do do more about organisms with marine bio

Its called marine biology because it is based on biology of all living organisms etc etc in the sea. However you do study oceanography in the course. Its in my 2nd year.
