I have a fish with sceptacemia and tail rot. I have managed to get get some maracyn-2 to treat and am wondering whether it is okay to treat the whole tank? There are 6 fish and only 2 need treating but I don't have a tank big enough to hold both fish. -_-

3 fancy goldfish, 1 yellow goldfish and 2 weather loaches in a 3ft tank.

One weather loach has the fin rot with septecemia and one of the fancy's had it aswell but I've cure the fin rot on him but the are signs of septacemia still there (a few small red blotches under the scales)

You will have to treat the whole tank then, can you say how many gallons is the tank and post test results in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Tank is 130L and water params are fine now... been going on for some time.

Fish have grown rapidly and the tank is now overstocked... will be taking the yellow goldfish back to the lfs and have got rid of the apple snails I had in there already.

That's roughly a 30gal, yes take one back you are overstocked, or you will get more problems with sickness and desease, really you should only have two goldfish in there.
