it weird he can like make them really hard to see but whenm he is stressed u can see them ( like they were blending in and i had to clean the end of my filter and when my hand got close to him i could see his dots again it messed up )

is there anything i sould get if i want them to breed ( flower pot ? plants or anything or uis my tank fine)
 
Yeah, I know what you mean, the other day you couldnt see the black bit on the top fin on either of my rams, but then they were reeaaally clear a few hours later.
I think your tank alone should be fine.

- ferris how about if I put 2 females in there - would it matter if they were a different type, (eg - german blue)?

Some sort of cave or flowerpot will provide a secure place for them to breed, its a good idea.

The problem with adding 2 females is that when the rams pair off, the remaining female could be perceived as a threat and you may have problems. I wouldn't risk it. 2 Females of a different species should be OK though or even a pair of German blues as they are fairly different in appearance.
